Acceptable Use Policy

1. Don’t use Klerky to

• Break the law, or store or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Upload other people’s personal or financial data without the right to do so, or in breach of your own privacy obligations.
• Distribute malware, attempt to breach security or access another workspace’s data, or probe, scan, or test the integrity of the service without permission.
• Scrape, resell, or sublicense the service, or build a competing product from it.
• Overload or interfere with the service — for example, excessive automated requests that degrade it for others.
• Impersonate others or post fake or misleading information.

2. Your data and content

You must have the right to store the client, financial, and team information you put into Klerky, and you’re responsible for handling it in line with the laws that apply to you.

3. Using the AI features responsibly

Receipt scanning is for your own legitimate business receipts. Don’t submit unlawful content, and remember that automated extraction can be wrong — always review amounts, dates, and vendors before relying on them. Klerky is a tool, not accounting or tax advice.

4. Enforcement

If you breach this policy, we may limit, suspend, or terminate your access — and, where there’s a risk of harm, act immediately. We’ll use judgment and aim to be fair.
