Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Klerky (“Klerky”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you’re using Klerky on behalf of a team or company, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these Terms for it.
1. What Klerky is
Klerky is a browser-based workspace for small teams to run day-to-day operations — clients, billing, expenses, financial summaries, files, and a team directory — in one place. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Your account and workspace
You’re responsible for activity in your account and workspace, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you and your members enter. You must be at least 18 years old to use Klerky.
3. Plans, billing, and our payment processor
Klerky offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan ($69/month, billed for the whole workspace). Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem handles the transaction, issues your receipt, and collects and remits any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Creem’s Buyer Terms. We never see or store your full card details.
We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes take effect on your next renewal.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel anytime and keep Pro access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Refunds are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Your use of Klerky must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.
6. Your data
You own the data you put into Klerky. We process it to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t sell your data, and you can export or delete it.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Klerky available and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that causes temporary downtime.
8. Not professional advice
Klerky helps you organize financial and operational information, but it is a tool — not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You’re responsible for verifying figures (including amounts extracted automatically from receipts) and for your own compliance obligations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klerky is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can stop using Klerky and close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
